I am Arunima Mandal, currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Florida State University (FSU), Florida, USA. I completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh, in February 2018.
I have a deep passion for competitive programming—it feels like a form of mental peace to me. I was first introduced to coding in 2014 during my first year at university, and by 2015, I began actively engaging in problem-solving for contests. Since then, it has become both a passion and a stress reliever, shaping the way I think and approach challenges.
I started this website as a personal knowledge journal—to track my progress and document what I learned. Over time, as I found help from others’ resources during difficult problems, I realized how meaningful it would be if my own detailed notes could help others, too. Seeing visitors benefit from my content feels like I’m living my purpose in life, which is contributing to others’ learning journeys.
This site, therefore, serves as a documentation of the algorithms, techniques, and problem-solving approaches I’ve learned and implemented throughout my competitive programming journey. It includes my solved problems from UVa, LightOJ, and SPOJ. (I haven’t included Codeforces problems, since their platform already allows public access to submitted solutions.)
I love exploring new algorithms, understanding their nuances, and applying them to solve challenging problems—it’s where my curiosity finds its rhythm.
My purpose in Life: To serve others by contributing meaningfully to society — through knowledge, innovation, and compassion.
